# Spiffy Clock vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Spiffy Clock at 100% against Digital Clock's 64%. Spiffy Clock also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Digital Clock's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (384 vs 12). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spiffy Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Digital Clock sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spiffy Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 384 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Spiffy Clock's written reviews are positive against 64% of Digital Clock's.

Spiffy Clock ships an update every 14 months, Digital Clock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
