# Spiffy Clock vs Puppy Clock

The clearest difference is ads: Spiffy Clock at none against Puppy Clock's shown. Puppy Clock's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 14 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spiffy Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Puppy Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spiffy Clock ships an update every 14 months, Puppy Clock every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
