# Pendleton Creek GC vs USGA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pendleton Creek GC at 100% against USGA's 37%. Pendleton Creek GC also leads on iOS requirement (13.1 vs 17.0). USGA's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (22K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USGA holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USGA has 22K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Pendleton Creek GC's written reviews are positive against 37% of USGA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pendleton Creek GC ships an update every 2 months, USGA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
