# Shield Nickel vs Creature Card Creator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Creature Card Creator at every 3 weeks against Shield Nickel's every 3 months. Creature Card Creator also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shield Nickel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Creature Card Creator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
