# Hoby Chat vs Saaky

The clearest difference is update cadence: Saaky at weekly against Hoby Chat's fortnightly. Saaky also leads on iOS requirement (13.1 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hoby Chat sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Saaky sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hoby Chat ships an update fortnightly, Saaky weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
