# Lincoln Head Cent vs Sci

The clearest difference is ads: Lincoln Head Cent at none against Sci's shown. Lincoln Head Cent also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 18 months). Sci's advantage is ratings volume (45 vs 5) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lincoln Head Cent sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sci sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Lincoln Head Cent against 4.6 for Sci. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sci has 45 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lincoln Head Cent ships an update every 3 months, Sci every 18 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
