# InkDeck vs Flash Cards

The clearest difference is rating: Flash Cards at 4.6 against InkDeck's 4.0. Flash Cards also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1). InkDeck's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InkDeck sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Flash Cards sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flash Cards holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flash Cards has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

InkDeck ships an update every 9 days, Flash Cards every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
