# Zipnote vs EasyNotes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Zipnote at none against EasyNotes's 10. Zipnote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). EasyNotes's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 5). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyNotes sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Zipnote asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zipnote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EasyNotes has 4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Zipnote's written reviews are positive against 52% of EasyNotes's.

Zipnote ships an update fortnightly, EasyNotes every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
