# Home Security Camera Finder vs Security Home

The clearest difference is monetization model: Home Security Camera Finder at free with in-app purchases against Security Home's subscription. Security Home's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1.7K). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Home Security Camera Finder sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Security Home sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Home Security Camera Finder against 4.3 for Security Home. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Home has 11K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 24% of Home Security Camera Finder's written reviews are positive against 19% of Security Home's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
