# Amcrest View Pro 2 vs FlowGo

The clearest difference is rating: FlowGo at 3.0 against Amcrest View Pro 2's 2.1. FlowGo also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months). Amcrest View Pro 2's advantage is ratings volume (93 vs 1) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlowGo holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amcrest View Pro 2 has 93 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Amcrest View Pro 2's written reviews are positive against 0% of FlowGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Amcrest View Pro 2 ships an update every 8 months, FlowGo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
