# Secured GPS Logger vs AureumCam

The clearest difference is ads: Secured GPS Logger at none against AureumCam's shown. AureumCam's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secured GPS Logger sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and AureumCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secured GPS Logger ships an update every 3 months, AureumCam every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
