# Soulear vs SL Visual

Soulear and SL Visual both sit at 2.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 32% of Soulear's written reviews are positive against 14% of SL Visual's. Soulear also leads on ratings volume (218 vs 11) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SL Visual holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soulear has 218 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Soulear's written reviews are positive against 14% of SL Visual's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Soulear ships an update every 2 months, SL Visual every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
