# LetterCode vs Pixel Stacker

The clearest difference is ads: LetterCode at none against Pixel Stacker's shown. Pixel Stacker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LetterCode sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pixel Stacker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LetterCode ships an update fortnightly, Pixel Stacker weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
