# LetterCode vs The Code Cracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: The Code Cracker at every 4 days against LetterCode's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LetterCode sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and The Code Cracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LetterCode ships an update fortnightly, The Code Cracker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
