# Focus vs Study Timer for Students

The clearest difference is rating: Study Timer for Students at 5.0 against Focus's 4.7. Focus's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Study Timer for Students sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
