# Zoologic vs Jelly Evolution

The clearest difference is rating: Zoologic at 3.9 against Jelly Evolution's 2.6. Zoologic also leads on review sentiment (44% vs 20%) and ratings volume (176 vs 7). Jelly Evolution's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zoologic sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Jelly Evolution sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zoologic holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zoologic has 176 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Zoologic's written reviews are positive against 20% of Jelly Evolution's.

Zoologic ships an update every 2 months, Jelly Evolution every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
