# X vs XP Lite

The clearest difference is rating: X at 5.0 against XP Lite's 2.2. X also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). XP Lite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. X sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. XP Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

X holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XP Lite has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

X ships an update every 4 months, XP Lite every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
