Love every coffee you buy. Scan any coffee bag and Siip shows how well it matches your taste, and why. At the grocery store, at a café or at home, you'll know if you'll like it before you buy it. Most of us know what we like when we taste it, but can't say why. So we buy the same safe bag again, or gamble on the packaging. Siip learns your taste from what you actually drink, not from what you think you like. That matters: people most often say they like chocolate and nutty coffees, yet they rate floral and berry coffees higher. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan the bag. Siip reads the label from a photo and knows more than 50,000 coffees from 6,000+ roasters. 2. See your match. Get a match score and the reasons a coffee fits you, or doesn't. 3. Rate it. Answer one question: "How was this coffee?" Every rating makes your next match sharper. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH SIIP • Scan or search any coffee before you buy it • See why a coffee suits you, in plain words • Rate coffees from anywhere: a bag at home, a café cup, a box from Siip • Get your taste in words: the flavors, roasts and origins you rate highest • Get picks made for your taste • Keep track of every coffee you've tried and loved • Meet the roasters and farmers behind your cup No coffee knowledge needed. Just tell Siip whether you liked it. THE SIIP SUBSCRIPTION (US ONLY) Let Siip pick for you. Each box brings coffees matched to your taste from 29 independent roasters, including Onyx Coffee Lab, Equator Coffees and George Howell Coffee. Siip picks from each roaster's full catalog and learns from every coffee you rate, not only the ones we send. By the fourth box, subscribers like or love 86% of their coffees. Free shipping. Skip, pause or cancel anytime. "If you asked me six months ago what coffees I like, my answer would have been dark roast with a bunch of cream. Now, I'd tell you it's probably somewhere from Nicaragua, probably a medium roast, with notes of nuts or chocolate." Richie, Siip subscriber Join 10,000+ coffee drinkers on Siip. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Siip at none against Bitebook's 1. Siip also leads on ratings volume (112 vs 2) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Bitebook's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bitebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Siip asks for nothing beyond the download.
Bitebook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Siip has 112 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Siip's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bitebook's.
Siip ships an update every 9 days, Bitebook every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
