# Watch vs Cronica

The clearest difference is rating: Watch at 5.0 against Cronica's 4.2. Watch also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). Cronica's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (18 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cronica sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Watch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Watch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cronica has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Watch's written reviews are positive against 81% of Cronica's.

Watch ships an update every 3 months, Cronica weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
