Shidonote is a client chart app for freelance and independent personal trainers. Client details, session records, and prepaid passes live together in one place — on your device, with no server involved. ■ Last session, right there The Today screen lists your sessions for the day, plus recent clients with what they did last time. Start recording and their previous weights and reps are already filled in — leave them as-is if nothing changed. Everything you need in the seconds before a session. ■ Passes count themselves down Saving a session uses one session from the linked pass. Low balance (2 or fewer) and near expiry (within 14 days) are shown by both the badge and the wording, so nothing gets missed or billed twice. Passes record sessions left, expiry, and unpaid status only — no payments are processed or received. ■ See the change as a chart Record weight, body fat, and girth (chest, waist, hip, thigh, arm) and see the trend and net change over any period — something concrete to show your client. ■ Notes you need on the floor Keep each client's goal and things to watch ("right shoulder discomfort; go easy on overhead work") on their chart. They surface on the Today screen too. ■ Presets and templates 17 exercises grouped by body part come built in, and you can add your own on the spot. Save the sets you use often as a template and add them all at once. ■ Your clients' data stays put Shidonote has no server and no account. What you enter is stored only on your device and is never sent to the developer or any third party. There is no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party SDK. ■ Lock and backup are free App lock (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode) and backup export/restore are included in the free version. Safety and data-protection features shouldn't sit behind a paywall. Save the exported file wherever you like, including iCloud Drive. ■ Session reminders Set the next session when you record, and this device reminds you an hour before. PRICING - Free: up to 3 clients and 3 templates. Session records, charts, passes, app lock, reminders, and backup are all included. There is no limit on how many sessions you record. - Shidonote Pro (one-time): unlimited clients and templates, plus a PDF progress report to hand to clients, CSV export, and a monthly summary (sessions delivered and estimated revenue). Not a subscription — buy once, keep it forever. PLEASE NOTE - Shidonote is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. - Obtaining and managing your clients' personal information, and getting any consent required, is your responsibility as the trainer. - For iPhone and iPad (iOS/iPadOS 18 or later). Available in 36 languages, including English and Japanese. Developer: freetokyo Contact: support@freetokyolabs.com

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gocket at none against Shidonote Personal Trainer Log's 1. Gocket also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
