# Novelink vs NovelsReader

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Novelink at 65% against NovelsReader's 7%. Novelink also leads on rating (4.4 vs 1.4) and ratings volume (6.8K vs 60). NovelsReader's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novelink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days and NovelsReader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Novelink holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Novelink has 6.8K ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Novelink's written reviews are positive against 7% of NovelsReader's.

Novelink ships an update every 2 months, NovelsReader every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
