# Novelink vs NovRead

The clearest difference is rating: Novelink at 4.4 against NovRead's 3.6. Novelink also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 39%) and ratings volume (7K vs 449). NovRead's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novelink sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and NovRead sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Novelink holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Novelink has 7K ratings behind it against 449, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Novelink's written reviews are positive against 39% of NovRead's.

Novelink ships an update every 2 months, NovRead monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
