# Ramen Map vs CATCHTABLE

The clearest difference is rating: CATCHTABLE at 4.9 against Ramen Map's 2.7. CATCHTABLE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2K vs 6). Ramen Map's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (63% vs 51%). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CATCHTABLE holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CATCHTABLE has 2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Ramen Map's written reviews are positive against 51% of CATCHTABLE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ramen Map ships an update every 9 days, CATCHTABLE every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
