# ADT+ vs Alder Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Alder Mobile at 73% against ADT+'s 41%. Alder Mobile also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ADT+'s advantage is ratings volume (63K vs 630) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ADT+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ADT+ has 63K ratings behind it against 630, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of ADT+'s written reviews are positive against 73% of Alder Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ADT+ ships an update monthly, Alder Mobile every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
