# viaDOTS vs Pickyload

The clearest difference is update cadence: viaDOTS at every 3 weeks against Pickyload's every 5 weeks. Pickyload's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

viaDOTS ships an update every 3 weeks, Pickyload every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
