# Detect Hidden Camera vs SpyTracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: SpyTracker at free with in-app purchases against Detect Hidden Camera's subscription. Detect Hidden Camera's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Detect Hidden Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and SpyTracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SpyTracker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 842 and 808 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Detect Hidden Camera's written reviews are positive against 19% of SpyTracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Detect Hidden Camera ships an update every 6 weeks, SpyTracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
