# Simple Dice vs Dice | Roll

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dice | Roll at every 6 days against Simple Dice's every 3 months. Dice | Roll also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). Simple Dice's advantage is ratings volume (92 vs 11). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Dice sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Dice | Roll sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
