# TIPAS (VPN) vs Malloc Mobile Security & VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Malloc Mobile Security & VPN at 5.0 against TIPAS (VPN)'s 4.5. TIPAS (VPN)'s advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 44%) and ratings volume (33 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TIPAS (VPN) sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Malloc Mobile Security & VPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Malloc Mobile Security & VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TIPAS (VPN) has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of TIPAS (VPN)'s written reviews are positive against 44% of Malloc Mobile Security & VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TIPAS (VPN) ships an update every 2 weeks, Malloc Mobile Security & VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
