# TIPAS (VPN) vs Launch VPN

The clearest difference is rating: TIPAS (VPN) at 4.7 against Launch VPN's 3.9. TIPAS (VPN) also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TIPAS (VPN) sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Launch VPN sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TIPAS (VPN) holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 33 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of TIPAS (VPN)'s written reviews are positive against 80% of Launch VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TIPAS (VPN) ships an update every 2 weeks, Launch VPN fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
