# Triple A HD vs Real Chimes

Triple A HD and Real Chimes both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Real Chimes's written reviews are positive against 33% of Triple A HD's. Real Chimes also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Triple A HD's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.1K vs 9). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Triple A HD sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Real Chimes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Real Chimes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Triple A HD has 4.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Triple A HD's written reviews are positive against 100% of Real Chimes's.

Triple A HD ships an update every 6 weeks, Real Chimes every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
