# Rig Driver vs Heave

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Heave at 100% against Rig Driver's 67%. Rig Driver's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rig Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Rig Driver's written reviews are positive against 100% of Heave's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rig Driver ships an update every 2 weeks, Heave every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
