# Fruitstand vs Clocks

The clearest difference is price: Clocks at Free against Fruitstand's $4.99. Clocks also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (435 vs 5). Fruitstand's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 60%) and device support (4 vs 2). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Clocks is free to download; Fruitstand costs $4.99 up front. Fruitstand sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Clocks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clocks holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clocks has 435 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Fruitstand's written reviews are positive against 60% of Clocks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fruitstand ships an update every 6 weeks, Clocks every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
