# REISS vs LeMieux

The clearest difference is rating: REISS at 4.8 against LeMieux's 4.1. REISS also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (556 vs 20). LeMieux's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (64% vs 43%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

REISS holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: REISS has 556 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of REISS's written reviews are positive against 64% of LeMieux's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

REISS ships an update fortnightly, LeMieux every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
