# SMART vs Carmel 311

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Carmel 311 at 7 against SMART's 1. SMART's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SMART against 4.9 for Carmel 311. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carmel 311 has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
