# Socratic AI vs Homework Helper

The clearest difference is ads: Homework Helper at none against Socratic AI's shown. Homework Helper also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Socratic AI's advantage is ratings volume (6.5K vs 1) and chart position (#55 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Socratic AI sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Homework Helper sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
