# Ampere Tech vs Clicks Keyboard

The clearest difference is rating: Clicks Keyboard at 3.0 against Ampere Tech's 2.2. Ampere Tech's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (40% vs 32%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Clicks Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 33 and 56 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Ampere Tech's written reviews are positive against 32% of Clicks Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ampere Tech ships an update every 3 weeks, Clicks Keyboard every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
