# Boosty vs AlphaSentry

The clearest difference is monetization model: AlphaSentry at freemium against Boosty's subscription. Boosty's advantage is review sentiment (28% vs 0%) and ratings volume (641 vs 98). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boosty sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and AlphaSentry sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Boosty against 4.2 for AlphaSentry. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boosty has 641 ratings behind it against 98, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of Boosty's written reviews are positive against 0% of AlphaSentry's.
