# Galaxii vs base

The clearest difference is ratings volume: base at 8 against Galaxii's 1. Galaxii's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Galaxii against 4.9 for base. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: base has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Galaxii ships an update every 2 months, base monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
