# ProLook vs PlayersLab

The clearest difference is ads: PlayersLab at none against ProLook's shown. PlayersLab also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). ProLook's advantage is ratings volume (44 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProLook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and PlayersLab sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlayersLab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProLook has 44 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ProLook ships an update fortnightly, PlayersLab every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
