# Contrax vs VertragsRadar

The clearest difference is update cadence: VertragsRadar at every 2 days against Contrax's every 5 weeks. VertragsRadar also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Contrax sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and VertragsRadar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Contrax ships an update every 5 weeks, VertragsRadar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
