# holr vs base

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: base at none against holr's 4. base also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. holr sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. base asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for holr against 4.9 for base. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: base has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
