# BAL.ON vs My True Swing

The clearest difference is rating: My True Swing at 4.5 against BAL.ON's 3.9. BAL.ON's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BAL.ON sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month and My True Swing sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My True Swing holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of BAL.ON's written reviews are positive against 50% of My True Swing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BAL.ON ships an update every 2 months, My True Swing every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
