# Best Widgets vs Widget Pro

The clearest difference is ads: Widget Pro at none against Best Widgets's shown. Widget Pro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Best Widgets's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (31 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Best Widgets sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Widget Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widget Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Best Widgets has 31 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Best Widgets ships an update every 2 weeks, Widget Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
