# BUBBA Fishing vs Fish Log

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fish Log at 100% against BUBBA Fishing's 45%. Fish Log also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). BUBBA Fishing's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 4) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BUBBA Fishing sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Fish Log asks for nothing beyond the download.

BUBBA Fishing holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BUBBA Fishing has 3.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of BUBBA Fishing's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fish Log's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BUBBA Fishing ships an update every 2 weeks, Fish Log weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
