# FutureMe vs Cry Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Cry Tracker at 5.0 against FutureMe's 2.8. FutureMe's advantage is ratings volume (134 vs 13) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FutureMe sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per year and Cry Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cry Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FutureMe has 134 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FutureMe ships an update every 9 days, Cry Tracker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
