# FutureMe vs Time Capsule

The clearest difference is rating: Time Capsule at 3.9 against FutureMe's 2.8. Time Capsule also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 28%). FutureMe's advantage is ratings volume (134 vs 9) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FutureMe sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per year and Time Capsule sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Capsule holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FutureMe has 134 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of FutureMe's written reviews are positive against 67% of Time Capsule's.
