# Tape vs Lezhure

The clearest difference is monetization model: Lezhure at free against Tape's ad-supported. Tape's advantage is ratings volume (61 vs 8). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tape against 5.0 for Lezhure. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tape has 61 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Tape ships an update fortnightly, Lezhure every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
