# Surplife vs LinkedSparx

The clearest difference is rating: LinkedSparx at 5.0 against Surplife's 4.5. Surplife's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LinkedSparx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Surplife has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Surplife ships an update fortnightly, LinkedSparx every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
