# Surplife vs Smart echosari

The clearest difference is rating: Surplife at 4.5 against Smart echosari's 3.6. Surplife also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 5). Smart echosari's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 55%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Surplife holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Surplife has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Surplife's written reviews are positive against 67% of Smart echosari's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Surplife ships an update fortnightly, Smart echosari every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
