# Surplife vs Permanent Lights

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Permanent Lights at 100% against Surplife's 54%. Permanent Lights also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Surplife's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Permanent Lights holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5.
